 Education needs more HOPE


This blog is intended for those of us who believe the process of education needs a genuine revolution. Years of trying to "reform" that which is fundamentally broken need to end. It's time to end that futility and get on with the process of creating, at least in our lives, a process that actually works.

We know academic content is important. Math, science, English, history... all good stuff. Some content still exists, but not required. Music, dance, welding, art... wonderful lifelong activities, but not thought important enough to be required.

HOPE is an acronym; Higher Order Principles of Education, and we will use that as the basis for much of what this blog addresses.

You are more ADULT than kid.


Please get a grip on that! We are not spoon-feeding you facts or concepts from textbooks or online lessons. We are simply giving you the opportunity to see what others say about crucial ideas regarding learning within the scope of living a good life. Listen to what they say, spend time analyzing their thoughts within the realm of what you believe. Then share your comments in the space below.
